Over the last few days,we witnessed something very unrealistic,very "video gamely".I am not a video game fanatic,the inch of dust on my PS2 proves that.I did occasionally play few games such as Grand theft auto and Midtown madness.What I liked in such games is that your character on the screen is in a city which is very similar to a real big city but you can do anything you wish which I thought was impossible in reality.Blow up pedastrians,earn points,blow up buildings,earn points,blow up peoples heads in a "Kill Frenzy" mode,earn additional points.
When I saw the maniacs on the lose,on the most famous streets of the "Financial capital" of India,I couldnt help but watch in shock,whatever was going on.Like most of the people,I was glued to the Telly day-night for those shameful 60 fucking hours.
I use the word shameful because, it is infact a shame on the part of our nation's so called "leaders".
Perhaps it is time for our Govt. to become a Big brother and introduce our version of the Patriot Act.
Perhaps it is time that we stop bullshitting so much about our Democratic freedom and make some less democratic laws.
You do wish to walk on the road knowing that some Motherfucker,trained in some hell-hole wont be able to jump in front of you and shoot your brains out.Dont you?
Lately,what annoys me the most is the manner in which people respond to such events.Sadly,we are now used to bomb blasts and maybe that is the reason why the terrorists are trying to be "innovative" in their ways.Bravo,Motherfuckers,Bravo!
Nearly 200 people died...O! O! lets light a fucking candle(Just like in Rang De,Wow!) and say we care.Lets get on the streets with placards saying we hate you politicians.Lets shout "enough is enough" and whatever makes good,catchy titles for news channels.
What the fuck is going to happen? Ill tell you...In a few months time elections will take place,News channels will get new fodder for bullshitting and just to show that they do care,they will occasionally try to remind us about the attacks.
I somehow feel that when such an incident takes place,people act drunk.Yes,you read it correctly.They say things which they usually dont.They do things they usually dont.Emotions run high.All of a sudden people think they have got the balls to change our country.But as the effect of alcohol declines all they do is wonder if so and so thing was done or said.Then they go to sleep.wake up with a bad hangover,headache etc and they move on.
