Planet of the apes

This X friend of mine,totally apes another friend Y of mine.Y is completely gaga over Z who is supposedly oh so cool.Z probably apes his sibling who in turn would have aped their daddy.This parent would have aped his friend,who may have aped a celebrity.That celebrity would surely have aped his teacher of some sort.That teacher,possibly aped his/her teacher,who aped someone else.

Everyone apes someone or the other.We ape people around us.People we like.People who appeal to us,as we wish to be like them.That is what we do.To what extent does one indulge in the art of aping determines one's personality.Do the default traits stay in tact,unaffected or is the aping so high level that the basic individuals characteristics are overshadowed by the aped ones is the question one needs to think about to  understand what kind of a monkey he/she is.
